Information collected
When you submit the briefing request form, we collect the information you provide: your name, work email address, organisation, role, programme or context, and what would be most useful.

To assess and respond to your enquiry.
Lawful basis
We process the personal data you submit through this form on the basis of our legitimate interests in receiving, assessing, responding to and managing genuine business enquiries and prospective commercial relationships. We rely on this basis only where those interests are not overridden by your rights and interests. Submitting this form does not constitute consent to unrelated direct marketing.
Service providers and international processing
We use service providers to operate this website and deliver enquiries to us. Replit provides the website hosting and server-side infrastructure. Resend provides transactional email delivery. These providers process personal data on our behalf where necessary to provide those services.
Resend’s primary processing operations and storage are in the United States. Where personal data is transferred outside the United Kingdom, we rely on the safeguards provided under the applicable data-processing arrangements, including recognised contractual transfer mechanisms where required.
The WCI website does not create a separate database record of your enquiry. A successfully delivered enquiry is retained in our business email system and handled in accordance with the retention periods described in this notice.
How long it is kept
Where an enquiry does not result in an engagement, we normally retain the enquiry information for 24 months from the last substantive contact. Where an engagement results, information that becomes part of the client or engagement record is retained in accordance with the applicable contractual, legal and business-record requirements.
Your rights
